Day 1 of the fifth Test between England and India in Dharamshala saw the visitors go from 175/3 to 218 all out, despite England having a strong start with the bat. Indian cricket has enormous depth. Brad Haddin also noted some notable absences from the Indian squad. But he also discussed the depth of Indian cricket, saying that Yashasvi Jaiswal is leading the way in their absence and praising young player Dhruv Jurel for his outstanding performance in the Ranchi Test.
“They are not their best team, but the fact that such well-known players are joining Indian cricket in this new period just goes to show how deep the sport is. Young Jurel was outstanding in the most recent test as well, but Jaiswal is spearheading the effort. India appears to be quite strong, thus claiming Haddin.
