For their forthcoming trip of India, England Women have revealed their three squads: an England A squad, a Test squad, and a T20 squad. Following shoulder surgery in September, Sophie Ecclestone has been picked for the Test and T20 squads as she continues her recovery in anticipation of the India series. Before traveling to India, the teams will begin their training camp in Oman.

Meanwhile, Bess Heath, the wicketkeeper-battler, has been added to both squads after making her senior debut for England against Sri Lanka in a One Day International last September.

Alice Capsey, a talented all-rounder, is also in line to win her first Test cap. England will visit India for the first time since 2019 when they play three IT20 matches at Wankhede Stadium and a four-day Test match at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai the following month.

To prepare for their next three IT20 matches against India A, England Women A have announced a strong 21-player squad that will go to Oman for a training camp from November 12 to November 25. Notably, Tash Farrant is on the team and is concentrating on her comeback to competitive bowling after undergoing lumbar spine surgery in June for a stress fracture. Mahika Gaur and Lauren Filer, two talented bowlers who made an impression during the cricket season this past summer, will be joining her.

Indian playing conditions are ideal for getting ready for our next two World Cups: Jon Lewis

Before their first IT20 match at Wankhede Stadium, Heather Knight’s team will hold a training camp in Oman from November 17 to December 2. For the IT20 matches against India A, a limited 14-player roster will be selected; those who are not selected will continue to practice with England Women in Oman. Head Coach Jon Lewis shared his opinions on the difficulties of playing in India as well as the next World Cups.

We’ve got a good balance between youth and experience. This squad is exciting and prepared to face the challenge of an extremely difficult series in India. It has been a while since we traveled through India. While some of our players have participated in the Women’s Premier League, many have never represented their country in cricket internationally.

“Playing in Indian conditions will be an amazing learning opportunity for both the players and the staff, and it’s great preparation for our next two World Cups in the subcontinent,” he continued. We genuinely look forward to the challenge and appreciate the Indian team.

The following players are part of the T20I squad: Heather Knight (captain), Maia Bouchier, Alice Capsey, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Mahika Gaur, Danielle Gibson, Sarah Glenn, Bess Heath, Amy Jones, Freya Kemp, Danielle Wyatt, and Heather Knight.

Test team members: Bess Heath, Amy Jones, Emma Lamb, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danielle Wyatt, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Tammy Beaumont, Lauren Bell, Alice Capsey, Kate Cross, and Sophie Ecclestone

United Kingdom The following are the members of the Oman training camp squad: Kirstie Gordon, Liberty Heap, Emma Lamb, Ryana MacDonald-Gay, Kalea Moore, Sophie Munro, Grace Potts, Grace Scrivens, Seren Smale, Rhianna Southby, Mady Villiers, Issy Wong, Tash Farrant, Lauren Filer, Mahika Gaur,
