The 15-member England team for the 2025 Women’s U-19 World Cup, which will take place in Malaysia, was just announced. There will be sixteen teams from across the world competing in the 41-match competition.
Tilly Corteen-Coleman, a left-arm orthodox player, is the team’s top player. She made an impression on the domestic scene and gave the Southern Brave Women some memorable performances in the most recent Women’s Hundred. Davina Perrin, an all-round batsman, is also selected. Working with the Under-19 age group most fascinates me because of the ongoing cycle of emerging talent and new groupings. We encourage these players to rise to the challenge, keep improving, and enjoy the ride, understanding that this World Cup is only one phase of their career rather than its conclusion or beginning. As reported, Guest stated, “Of course we want to succeed, but the program is about developing these players in the long run and the future.”

After competing for the U-19s in the inaugural World Cup in 2023, Ryana MacDonald-Gay, Hannah Baker, Seren Smale, and Charis Pavely were a real inspiration to the group and showed how crucial this competition can be for a player’s development.
