PAk vs ENG 2024: England announce playing 11 for third Test with two changes

The third Test match between England and Pakistan will begin on October 24 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. With a combined total of 20 wickets in the second Test, Pakistan’s spin combination of Sajid Khan and Niman Ali tore England apart. After winning the second Test by 152, their first home victory in more than three years, and tying the series at one, Pakistan is feeling quite confident.

Like the Multan strip in the second Test, the Rawalpindi surface is probably set up to help spinners. The visitors have altered their playing eleven in two ways in light of that development. Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts have been replaced by spinner Rehan Ahmed and pacer Gus Atkinson. Rehan was included because England wants to use spin to improve their bowling.

In the second Test, Carse and Potts were outstanding, taking a combined eight wickets in two innings. However, by fielding their spin combination of Shoaib Bashir and Rehan Ahmed together, the Rawalpindi deck will welcome the English with turn, hoping that Pakistan can take revenge.
