The captain of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Rishabh Pant, blasted a reporter on “X” for claiming that the team will let him go before the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.
Rishabh Pant and LSG have already been eliminated from the IPL 2025, and they are both having a horrible season.
Only 135 runs at an average of 12.27 and a strike rate of 100 have been scored by Rishabh Pant, who was purchased for INR 27 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction.
“I know that fake news helps content gain greater popularity, but let’s not base everything on it. Credible news and common sense will be more beneficial than fabricating news with ulterior motives, Pant stated.
“Thank you, and enjoy your day. Let’s use social media with responsibility and common sense.
In their 12 IPL 2025 games thus far, the Super Giants have only won five.
On May 22, they will play the Gujarat Titans (GT), and on May 27, they will play the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to wrap off the season.
