A few days after Indian all-rounder, Ravichandran Ashwin, pointed out the mislabeling of fielding coach, T. Dilip, on Google (written as “internet personality” previously), the man himself thanked Ashwin for bringing the topic up during a press conference in his hometown.
T Dilip related a similar story of how a buddy had alerted him to the same mistake that Google, the search engine, had made.
Ash did a wonderful job bringing up this subject. When one of my friends typed my name into Google around a month ago, I was taken aback to see “internet personality.” ‘What is this digital personality?’ I wondered. I’m pleased Ashwin brought it up, and “fielding coach” has now been added. Dilip laughed and remarked, “As for the celebrity part, I’m not sure about that,” as reported by India Today.

He thanked Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli for their individual catches and went into detail about the crucial dismissals they were a part of in the first game of the series, in addition to praising the player of the match in that game.
“If you watch the footage closely, you’ll notice that he was positioned in the wicketkeeper’s line of sight. We talked about standing closer to the stumps throughout the training session, especially in subcontinental circumstances. When it comes to Virat Kohli, there’s not much of a difference between how he practices and how he plays the game because he replicates his desire to win matches throughout practise.” Dilip said of Kohli.
“Among the best that you may have seen was this one. The ball was dipping towards his non-dominant side, so instead of playing a defensive pitch, the hitter aggressively pushed it. Thus, the ball did move at a specific speed. Dilip said of Jaiswal, “To come down low and take it with a single-hand was an absolute blinder, especially for a gully fielder.”

Of Bangladesh’s 20 dismissals in the two innings, fielders claimed 13 of them. The second Test will take place on a placid Kanpur pitch that is predicted to have little bounce, so the Indian fielders will need to step up to seize any opportunities that are provided.
