'If I can be even 1% helpful, that would be great' - Dhawal Kulkarni opens up on  prospect of coaching

Dhawal Kulkarni stated that as he recently departed from domestic cricket, he is not interested in beginning his coaching career right away. He did, however, state that he would welcome chances to return to the game in the future.

Kulkarni said goodbye to the game in March, having had an incredible career with Mumbai in domestic cricket in addition to collecting caps for India in the two white-ball formats. In the final, he assisted Mumbai in defeating Vidarbha to win the 42nd Ranji Trophy trophy, setting a new record. To end the match on a positive note, Kulkarni claimed the last wicket to fall in the summit battle.

The right-arm bowler is presently participating in the ongoing Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2024 as a member of the India Caps. Kulkarni discussed his coaching goals in an exclusive interview with that he conducted on the fringes of the franchise event.

“As I recently retired from the IPL, there are currently no such intentions. However, I would absolutely love to share my cricketing experience with any team if I ever get the chance. I expressed my desire to contribute to the game even when I declared my retirement. Therefore, it would be a huge accomplishment for me if I could boost someone’s career even 1%,” Kulkarni said.

Throughout the six-team competition, one of the best bowlers to watch has been Kulkarni. The 35-year-old has contributed to his team’s postseason success, and on Sunday, October 13, they will take on Toyam Hyderabad in the Eliminator in Srinagar.
