Ahead of the forthcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Dhallywood star Shakib Khan recently revealed the name of his newly established team, the Dhaka Capitals. The proprietors of Durdanto Dhaka sold the franchise to Remark and Herlan, who are eager to succeed in the 11th BPL season. On October 14, the team selected Litton Das, a standout hitter, in the players’ selection.
Litton Das has amassed 2003 runs with a strike rate of 125.57 in 92 Twenty20 Internationals for Bangladesh.
He recently got 60 runs in three games during the T20I series against India. As of right now, the team administration has not made any final decisions, but Litton might be the new captain of the Dhaka franchise.
Notably, Litton spent three years with the Comilla Victorians before being signed by the Sylhet Strikers for the 2018–19 campaign. He played for the Rangpur Riders the next year before returning to Comilla for the 2021–22 campaign. Before moving to the Dhaka Capitals, he spent three seasons there. He has participated in 95 tournament games and amassed 2075 runs at a strike rate of 127.69.
Abu Jayed, Sabbir Rahman, and Shadadat Dipu are signed to Dhaka.
In the players’ draft, Dhaka also acquired Abu Jayed, Sabbir Rahman, Shahadat Hossain Dipu, Munim Shahriar, Mukidul Islam, and Habibur Rahman Sohan in addition to Litton, Saim Ayub, and Amir Hamza.
Jayed, who has represented Bangladesh in three Twenty20 Internationals, was a member of the Comilla team in the previous edition and took five wickets in two games. In 55 games, he has taken 62 wickets at an average of 21.35. The team has also signed Shabbir Rahman, who was a member of the Khulna Tigers the previous season and has played 48 Twenty20 Internationals for Bangladesh, scoring 977 runs at an average of 23.26.

Shahadat Hossain Dipu, a 22-year-old batsman who recently played for Bangladesh A versus Pakistan Ae, is expected to perform well. In order to rejoin the Bangladeshi team, he would be hoping to perform well in the BPL.
