The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team lost the opening Test at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, giving the hosts a poor start to the ongoing Test series between India and England.
India had set themselves a goal of 231 runs to win the first Test, but England’s bowling assault was too strong for the hosts, as they were bowled out for 202 runs, losing by a margin of 28 runs.
