Despite not wearing the Indian team’s official training uniform, Deepak Chahar reportedly attended the event, according to a video that journalist Sahil Malhotra released. Deepak Chahar has not yet made his Test debut with the Baggy Blues, despite having played for the Indian squad in white-ball formats.
In preparation for the forthcoming fifth Test of the current series against England, the Indian team is currently working very hard. The Indian team is currently dealing with a number of ailments in its lineup before this series-deciding match gets underway at The Oval in London on July 31. Out-of-favor bowler Deepak Chahar was spotted at the pitch exercising with the Indian team the day before the match.
Here is a video of Deepak Chahar with the Indian squad.

Although Deepak Chahar is not officially with the Indian team, his presence suggests that he might be included to the squad; however, the BCCI has not yet made such a statement. Notably, Jasprit Bumrah is probably going to miss the series finale, and top wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has been sidelined due to a toe fracture. Consequently, Narayan Jagadeesan, a professional batter, was added to the team by the selectors.
Regarding the current Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025, the series has so far been quite the emotional rollercoaster for both teams’ supporters. The assignment got off to a great start for hosts England, who won the opening match by a margin of five wickets. But in the second Test at Edgbaston, the Indians came back hard to win a historic match. While the fourth Test in Manchester ended in a draw, the third Test once again went in England’s benefit.
England presently leads the series 2-1, and they can win the series even if they draw at the Kennington Oval. However, if the Shubman Gill-led team hopes to avoid the humiliation of a series loss, they must overcome the Ollie Pope-led team in their next match. Ben Stokes will not play in the match because of a shoulder injury, but the hosts have already announced their starting lineup.
Aside from Stokes, the English team has seen three other changes. Liam Dawson left, while the speed pair of Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse has been benched. Josh Tongue, Gus Atkinson, Jamie Overton, and Jacob Bethell are the four players who replaced the ones leaving.
