Steve Smith stops play because of a small object on the sight screen

Australia, headed by Pat Cummins, is now playing their rivals in the third and final Test match of the series after winning the first two Tests in the ongoing series against Pakistan. At the Sydney Cricket Ground, the two teams will square off on January 3. When it came to the on-field shenanigans on Day 3 of the match, experienced Australian batsman Steve Smith was at his best. The game was stopped by the star hitter because he lost focus when he saw the smallest of items on the screen.

The footage that has been making the rounds on social media shows the groundskeeper getting up on the screen and taking the object out during the incident, which occurred just before the 71st over.

Notably, Steve Smith has frequently disclosed that he suffers from ADHD and is easily distracted.

For this reason, he requires as few interruptions as possible in order to maximize his ability to focus.

Australia hopes to defeat Pakistan with a landslide.

As they have already won the first two games in their current series against Pakistan, Australia is in a very commanding position. But it doesn’t mean they won’t hold out hope for a decisive victory.

Pakistan batted first to start the third Test, scoring 313 runs in the opening half. Australia responded with a total of 299 runs. Usman Khawaja and David Warner opened the innings for the hosts with scores of 34 and 47 runs, respectively. Mitchell Marsh also reached his half-century, while Marnus Labuschagne scored an additional sixty runs.

Pakistan will want to put up a large score and present the Australians with a challenging goal to chase down as they lead into the second innings.
