David Warner said, "It would be nice to add to their misery" in advance of the England match.

When Australia and England play each other in the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, veteran opener David Warner has declared his intention to cause England even more suffering. On November 4, the game will take place in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

Despite his remarkable run, Warner acknowledged that the team led by Jos Buttler is the “most dangerous” in the current campaign. The southpaw went on to say that he respects England’s talented bowlers and batsmen.

It would be pleasant to add to England’s suffering. When there is nothing to lose, though, those are the teams that are most lethal. They have some extremely talented players, and we must give them credit for that. Cricket.com.au cited David Warner as saying, “They bat to eleven and have a very strong bowling unit.

One of Australia’s most outstanding players, David Warner, said more about his thoughts at the crease.

It is noteworthy that with 413 runs in six games, he is the second-leading run scorer in the competition and that his batting is as potent as ever. In the ten-team competition, he has amassed two centuries and one half-century.

“Everyone continues to write me off. I’m trying my hardest to start as strong as I can in the first ten (overs) and I’m doing as good as I can. “I try to make the most of it if I get in,” the 37-year-old continued.

He continued by talking about the return of Travis Head to the starting lineup. “Having Heady and Mitch there is especially fantastic, as it maintains the pressure on the opposition,” he said in closing.

Australia pulled up an amazing comeback to win four straight games in the World Cup after getting off to a terrible start. Notably, the team captained by Pat Cummins is among the favorites to get to the main event semifinals. England, meantime, has had a dismal season and is currently buried at the bottom of the ten-team points standings.
