In the second T20I, South Africa and India continued their existing T20I series. The battle took place on Sunday, November 10 at St. George’s Park in Gqeberha. India was hoping for another strong performance in the second Twenty20 International after winning the first one.
But the plans of the Proteas were different. The first innings’s most notable moment came when Tilak Varma was dismissed. After the top order collapsed, Tilak Varma tried to steady the innings for India, but he was caught off guard by David Miller’s skill in the field.
The final ball of the eighth over was the one that Varma thought would be played over at extra cover. Miller, however, was able to grab the ball with a one-handed stunner at extra cover, reaching his palm overhead, and Varma left for a score of 20 runs.

India is losing wickets as the Proteas increase their pressure.
Regarding the match, South Africa persisted in exerting pressure on India. India batted first in the match, and Samson’s strong form following a spectacular century in the first Twenty20 International was not sustained. In addition to Abhishek Sharma’s four runs, the star batter was dismissed for a duck.
Suryakumar Yadav, the captain, too left after scoring four runs, therefore he was unable to have any impact. Twenty runs were scored by Tilak Varma in the same number of deliveries. Although he appeared to be in fine form, all-rounder Axar Patel was also run out and left the field after scoring 27 runs in 21 deliveries.

By the time the 14th over of the first innings ended, the Indian team had lost five wickets and reached an 80-run total.
