Danish Kaneria, a former cricket player for Pakistan, has been making headlines lately for his statements and viewpoints on a variety of subjects. The 42-year-old recently took a similar stance, coming forward to request assistance from the Indian Prime Minister and the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).
Danish Kaneria came forward and requested assistance from the BCCI and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in getting the lifetime ban that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had placed on him in 2012 for spot-fixing lifted.
According to AajTak, Danish stated, “I would like to appeal to Prime Minister Modi and the BCCI to help me remove the ban that was imposed on me by the ECB.”
