Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy in 2025, with play starting in February. There are ominous clouds hanging over the Indian team’s journey to the next country ahead of the main event. Danish Kaneria, a former captain of Pakistan, has said that the Indian team shouldn’t visit Pakistan.
India declined to travel to Pakistan, hence the Asia Cup 2023 was held under a hybrid format instead. Taking a hint from the Asian tournament, Kaneria recommended that India avoid going to Pakistan since the circumstances are unfavorable. Even though the Asia Cup was moved to Sri Lanka, Kaneria proposed that the India games might be held in Dubai.
“Observe the circumstances in Pakistan.” It is my opinion that Pakistan ought to consider hosting the Indian team instead of them. The Champions Trophy will probably be contested in Dubai using a hybrid format, according to Kaneria, who stated that the ICC will make the final decision.
