Dale Steyn, formerly of South Africa, will join the England Lions for a brief stint. When the young players go to South Africa in November, Steyn will join the team and serve as a bowling consultant. In his first tour as head coach of the England Lions, Andrew Flintoff is eager to contribute coaching unit expertise that will help the team in South Africa.
Ten seamers are among the 19 players selected by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) earlier this month. In addition to participating in a four-day match against South Africa A in the Western Province, two international cricket players, Pat Brown and Josh Hull, will be at the training camp in South Africa. Previously called up cricket players for England, such as John Turner and Dillon Pennington, will also be included in the team.
Zaman Akhtar, Kasey Aldridge, Henry Crocombe, Tom Lawes, Harry Moore, and Mitchell Stanley are the other six fast bowlers. Since England is in dire need of a pace bowling outfit for the future,
Dale Steyn will collaborate closely with them. James Anderson and Stuart Broad performed well at home after their retirement, but not so well outside of it.
The trip in South Africa is a significant project, and England Test captain Ben Stokes called for a pace revolution after Anderson’s retirement in particular. They have added Steyn to the coaching staff in part because they are looking for individuals who can contribute to the forthcoming Test series against Australia and India. The ace pacer is considered to be among the best in red-ball cricket.
Additionally, Neil McKenzie will be joining the England Lions team. Freddie McCann, Ben McKinney, and Hamza Sheikh are three players of the England Under-19s lineup that he will be in charge of in the batting department.

Notably, Dinesh Karthik, a former cricket player, also made a temporary appearance on the coaching staff of the England Lions earlier this year. He accompanied the team on their three-match series trip to India.
