Veteran batsman Cheteshwar Pujara received a spectacular felicitation in a touching event at Rajkot’s Niranjan Shah Stadium in honor of his steadfast service to cricket over the course of more than ten years.
The Saurashtra Cricket Association, which was hosting the event, took advantage of the chance to christen the stadium in honor of the renowned administrator, Niranjan Shah. Cheteshwar Pujara, a veteran who has played in 103 Test matches, acknowledged the event with thanks and humility.
For the felicitation, Cheteshwar Pujara thanked Jay Shah and Saurashtra Cricket.
Along with expressing gratitude to coaches, teammates, and supporters for their assistance along the way, he also said how enthusiastic he was to keep serving his country.

Not all of the attention was on Pujara at the ceremony; his teammate Ravindra Jadeja also got well-deserved recognition. Since they first played together for Saurashtra as under-14 players, both players have developed an incredible bond. Pujara reflected on the difficulties he had in his early cricket career and thanked everyone who had supported him.
Pujara has an outstanding track record in Test cricket. Since making his debut in 2010, the right-hander has participated in 103 games and amassed 7195 runs at an average of 43.6, with a career-high score of 206*. With 963 fours, 16 sixes, 19 centuries, and 35 fifties, Pujara has it all.
