In India and around the world, a number of leagues are popping up. In one such case, the Asian Legends League (ALL T20), a brand-new league, is set to begin play on March 10 and conclude on March 18. Chetan Sharma, a former chief selector for India and the league commissioner, has backed the league, which would have five teams. In Nathdwara, Rajasthan, the tournament’s opening match will take place.
The league’s five participating teams are the Afghanistan Pathans, Bangladesh Tigers, Sri Lankan Lions, Indian Royals, and the Rest of the Asian Stars. Miraj International Cricket Stadium in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, will host all of the matches. On February 15, the players will be drafted for selection.
The players who sign up for the draft will be selected to join their respective teams. However, the organizers have announced the coaches of the five teams: Marvan Atapattu (Asian Stars), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (Afghanistan Pathans), and Herschelle Gibbs (Bangladesh Tigers).
“The ALL T20 is a celebration of retired Asian cricket players coming together and is more than just a cricket league. League commissioner Chetan Sharma stated,
“The league offers fans an exciting opportunity to watch legends from all over Asia compete in a country-versus-country clash.”
