Abhishek Sharma and India continue to dominate the 5th T20I
After scoring the second-fastest century for an Indian batsman in Twenty20 Internationals, Abhishek Sharma continued to assault the England bowlers, who appeared unimpressive that day, and the Indian team is in a strong position thus far.
Currently, after 17 overs, the Indian total stands at 219-6. With three overs remaining, Abhishek is batting alongside star all-rounder and vice skipper Axar Patel and is now undefeated at 120 off just 49 deliveries.
India has already won the series, though, following a nail-biting match that went right down to the final over at the MCA Stadium in Pune. India currently has a 3-1 lead in the series, while England is playing for pride in an attempt to at least end the already eliminated series on a high note. This is the goal for Jos Buttler and his team, who may have displayed some flashes of genius throughout the series but were unable to capitalise on the pivotal moments.
