Former Australian bowler Brett Lee has voiced his opinion on the matter and expressed dissatisfaction with the behaviour. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Rahul was seen remaining calm in the face of an enraged Goenka. Lee said that this kind of conversation ought to take place in private rather than in front of a large crowd.
On Wednesday, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, the openers for Sunrisers Hyderabad, caused havoc as the Lucknow Super Giants looked completely lost. KL Rahul stuck to his leg-spinners even after he was pounded in the powerplay, and the strategy did not work. Consequently, SRH won the match without dropping a wicket. Following the game, Rahul and LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka were spotted having an animated conversation that received criticism from online users.
“Rather than having everyone observe, there is a location behind closed doors that could have been a better choice. You wouldn’t be questioning me now if it were done behind closed doors. On the other hand, it also demonstrates the owners’ and coaches’ enthusiasm.
“Maybe, choose your time, as they want their team to succeed and be the best,” Brett Lee remarked at a Delhi event, as reported by Hindustan Times.
SRH dealt LSG the season’s biggest heartbreak.
Speaking about the match, on May 8 in Hyderabad, LSG chose to bat first and puffed their way to 166. There were rumours during their innings that the pitch was unfriendly. However, the SRH openers disproved the rumours by scoring 107 runs during the powerplay. It is noteworthy that during their innings, LSG had only managed to score 27 runs in the powerplay.

Head and Abhishek had the target just a short distance away, therefore they had no intention of stopping. They persisted in their assault, taking just 9.4 overs to get the required score. In addition to making LSG’s path to the playoffs more difficult, the loss significantly hurt their Net Run Rate.
