Notably, this was the first time in six years that West Indies had defeated India in a T20I series. The seasoned Indian batsman Robin Uthappa was all praise for the Windies players’ teamwork in the decisive game to put an exciting conclusion to the series. Brandon King, the West Indies opener, was singled out for praise after his game-winning innings of 85* from 55 deliveries.
