A moving and sentimental teaser for Sony Sports Network’s upcoming documentary series “Bharat Tum Chale Chalo, Kahani 2021-22 Ki” was released as Team India gets ready for their 2025 visit of England. The show will allow fans to experience firsthand the arduous effort and behind-the-scenes aspects of India’s historic Test visit to England in 2021.
With strong performances and intense on-field situations, the 2021 tour was one of India’s most outstanding Test matches in recent memory. Due to COVID-19 disruptions, what started as a five-match series ended with four Tests completed. India led 2-1 before the last Test was postponed and played in 2022, which was won by the hosts.
This iconic series is revisited in the original docuseries on Sony Sports Network, which offers viewers a never-before-seen glimpse inside the thoughts and feelings of its participants.
A large panel of narrators appears in the series, including Rajkumar Sharma (Virat Kohli’s childhood coach), Nick Knight (English cricket commentator), Sunil Shetty (actor and KL Rahul’s father-in-law), Ravi Shastri (then India coach), and R Sridhar (then India fielding coach).

There were many unforgettable moments during the tour, particularly during the renowned Lord’s Test, where the visitors made a spectacular comeback thanks to a stand that will never be forgotten between Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. The same game also included Virat Kohli’s now-famous on-field statement, “For 60 overs, they should feel hell out there.” Although the series’ premiere date has not yet been set, it is anticipated to be as successful as “Bandon Mein Tha Dum” (the documentary series about India’s 2020–21 tour to Australia).
In addition, India’s next tour of England will include five Test matches at iconic English stadiums, including Headingley in Leeds, Edgbaston in Birmingham, Lord’s and The Oval in London, and Old Trafford in Manchester, between June and August 2025.
