The coaching staff of Sri Lanka now includes former South African cricket player Jonty Rhodes and former India fast bowling coach Bharat Arun. Alex Kountouri, a former physiotherapist from Sri Lanka, was also included in the statement. The statement continued, “To this end, the Executive Committee resolved to hire veteran fielding coach Jonty Rhodes of South Africa, former fast bowling coach Bharat Arun of the Indian national team, and former physiotherapist Alex Kountouri of the Sri Lanka national team.”
The Sri Lanka Cricket Association of Sri Lanka, which organizes yearly school cricket competitions in collaboration with the cricketing body, has recently revealed an award program for young cricket players who demonstrate exceptional performance. Under the initiative, cricket players from the U15 division up to the U17 division will receive recognition.
