Australia Women and England Women will play a four-day Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground after their respective three-match ODI and T20I series. January 30 is when the day-night game is supposed to start.
It seems that Australian batsman-wicketkeeper Beth Mooney was very eager to play in the Test. “Both the team and I would have preferred it if the Test had been scheduled in the first half of the series,” she said.

Alyssa Healy’s foot ailment also forced the left-handed batter to explain her ad hoc position of wicketkeeping and middle-order service in order to make room for the pure batter.
“Whether it’s the batting order, behind the wickets, or on the field, I appreciate that I can provide the selection panel and coaching staff a variety of alternatives. The ace batter said, “I’m looking forward to what that will bring, and hopefully I’m just warming up Midge’s (Alyssa Healy) spot for a little while. It will be a nice challenge for me to bat in that middle-order role and keep wickets.”
Finishing off the Women’s Ashes 2025 will be the renowned multi-day match. In order to win the seventh and final game, the hosts, who have won every game thus far, should deliver a similar performance.
