Wriddhiman Saha, a former cricket player for India, has been appointed as the Siliguri Strikers’ mentor for the Bengal Pro T20 League’s second season. In the June league, the former Indian cricket player will play for both the men’s and women’s teams. The team recently announced the move in a press statement on Friday, May 23.
In addition to expressing his happiness at being a mentor on the potential squad, Wriddhiman Saha stated that he aims to impart his knowledge and expertise to the young people and gifted people, enabling them to excel on the great stage of the sport.
Similarly, team director Rishabh Bhatia believed that Wriddhiman Saha technical expertise and smart leadership will help the Strikers in the league’s second season.
“I’m thrilled to be a mentor for the Siliguri Strikers. In a press release on Friday, Siliguri Strikers cited Wriddhiman Saha as saying, “I’m excited to share my experience with the talented players and help them perform at their best on the big stage.”

The Strikers’ goal is to advance farther in the Bengal Pro T20 League’s second season.
The women’s squad of the Siliguri Strikers
After the player drafts earlier this month, the Siliguri Strikers have already assembled their women’s team. Priyanka Bala, who has played for the Mumbai Indians Women in the WPL, was retained. Out of the 188 players who were shortlisted, 128 ladies were selected in the drafts. Bala, Tithi Das, Mouli Mondal, Ritu Gayen, and Soumi Roy are just a handful of the excellent players on the Strikers Women’s roster.
