Ben Stokes, the captain of England’s red-ball team, is scheduled to return to action in the next The Hundred, when he will represent Andrew Flintoff’s Northern Superchargers. Following the conclusion of the England versus West Indies Test series, the all-around talisman will be added to the team.
For the Superchargers, Ben Stokes will be available for four games.
He was not able to participate in the competition the previous year, but he is returning to wow the cricket community in the most recent edition of this unique league. After completing their national duties, the players that make up England’s Test squad against the West Indies—Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Jamie Smith, and Zak Crawley—will join their individual teams in The Hundred. The third and final Test match begins on July 26, while the main event kicks out on July 23.
The Hundred will certainly be more competitive because of the presence of elite international cricket players. Prominent figures such as Gus Atkinson, Matthew Potts, and Dillon Pennington are expected to be included from the first rounds, and Chris Woakes is expected to start on Tuesday, August 6.
Depending on their roles and workload management, the players selected for the first Test match against Sri Lanka at Emirates, Old Trafford, on Wednesday, August 21, will also be available for The Hundred’s Eliminator and Final, which are set for August 17 and 18, respectively.
With their summer international obligations behind, England’s footballers are ready to show off their skills in the women’s competition. A stellar group of stand-ins is also available in the competition to cover for injuries and early-round foreign selections. In addition, other noteworthy entrants in the women’s and men’s contests are Tim Southee of New Zealand, Mitchell Santner of Australia, and Deepti Sharma of India.

Starting on July 23 is the Hundred Men’s event.
On August 18, Zara Larsson will enthral the audience at Lord’s during the grand finale, which will open at the Kia Oval with a performance by Cat Burns. Last year’s championship attracted over 500,000 spectators due to increasing ticket sales, with a record 3,10,000 people attending the women’s bouts alone.
On July 23, the Oval Invincibles and Birmingham Phoenix will square off at the Kennington Oval in London to kick off the men’s league. Early on the same day, respective women’s teams will compete to begin the women’s tournament.
