The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made a special announcement for the 13th edition of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in an effort to improve the cricket-watching experience for fans.

Ten international teams are participating in the competition, which began on October 5, 2023, and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has added an extra element of convenience for all cricket fans.

In a post, Shah stated, “I am delighted to announce that we’re giving FREE bottled and mineral drinking water for spectators at stadiums across India. Enjoy the games while staying hydrated! Let’s make CWC 2023 history by making enduring memories.

This activity is a pleasant release for cricket fans who had been preparing for an exciting month and a half of cricket action at 10 different Indian locations. Fans can now be sure that they will have free access to mineral and packaged drinking water to beat the heat and enjoy the games, whether they are in the renowned Eden Gardens in Kolkata or the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The cricketing superpowers, including Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, are expected to engage in heated competition at the 2023 Cricket World Cup.

The BCCI generosity is positioned to enhance the viewing experience given the hotly anticipated matches scheduled at these storied sites.

The knockout stage, which consists of the semifinals and the championship game, guarantees suspenseful play at night. On November 15, the first semi-final will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, while on November 16, the second semi-final will be held in Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The next world champion will be decided at the grand finale, which is scheduled for November 19 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
