The cricket team of Bangladesh visits to Pakistan before to the two-match Test series

In advance of the two-match Test series that begins next week, the Bangladesh Cricket Team arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday, August 13.

After passing through rigorous security procedures upon arrival at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, the Bangladeshi contingent was taken to their accommodation by law enforcement officials and police. Before travelling to Islamabad, Bangladesh will train for three days at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The timetable states that the Bangla Tigers will take Tuesday off before beginning their preparations on Wednesday. On Wednesday, August 21, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, the first Test is slated to commence. The second Test, meanwhile, will begin play on August 30 at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Bangladesh’s senior players, including Mominul Haque, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mushfiqur Rahim, will be led by Najmul Hossain Shanto. Shakib, who is now in Canada, will be joining the team later.

For the opening four-day encounter against Bangladesh A, which starts on August 13, Pakistan Shaheens have selected eight players from their 17-man Test team.

After the four-day match, these players will be added to the Test team. In the four-day match, the Shaheens will be led by Saud Shakeel, who has been selected the Test squad’s vice-captain.

Pakistan’s current ranking in the World Test Championship (WTC) points standings for the 2023–2025 cycle is No. 5. In the five games they have played, they have lost three and won two. Bangladesh, however, is mired in obscurity at No. 8, just above the West Indies. Bangladesh has only managed one victory in four games, losing the other three.

For the first time since the June T20 World Cup, Pakistan and Bangladesh will be playing again. Although Bangladesh reached the Super Eight level before losing, Pakistan was eliminated in the first round.
