Babar Azam surpasses all other players in terms of runs after 100 ODI matches.

Pakistan eventually fell to New Zealand in the fifth and final ODI, losing 4-1 to seal the series victory. Speaking of statistics and significant events surrounding the game, Pakistan captain Babar Azam went on to record an outstanding statistic after participating in his 100th ODI game during the same match. Azam now has the most runs to his name after playing 100 ODIs, despite the fact that he failed to get going in his 100th ODI game with just one run in the game.

After the historic 100th ODI, Azam currently has 5089 runs, a fantastic average of 59.17, and 18 tons to his credit. Following Shikhar Dhawan of India, who has 4309 runs after 100 ODI matches, is Hashim Amla, who has 4808 runs. David Warner, who scored 4217 runs after the same ODIs, comes in at number four, while Shai Hope, who scored 4193 runs, comes in at number five.

Babar Azam participated in his 100th ODI, which the home team lost to New Zealand by a score of 47 runs. However, because of Azam’s amazing performance in the format, he was able to reach a fantastic milestone after 100 ODI matches.

“It was a fantastic series, but it didn’t come to a satisfying conclusion. Although Agha and Iftikhar formed a solid connection as we struggled with the bat at the top, we still left too many runs on the table for them. We must always be ready to execute under any circumstances. A better cricket performance was required today.

“Overall, the squad played well in the series, and our bowlers performed admirably. There were several encouraging things to take away from this series, which we used to test the bench strength.

After Pakistan lost the last ODI, Babar Azam stated, “It was a wonderful series for us because we chased 300+ and also defended under 300.
