The opportunity that was presented to Sarfaraz Ahmed to play for the Pakistan cricket team in the Test series against New Zealand was one that he seized with both hands and turned into a memorable comeback for Pakistan. In his response to the reporter, Babar Azam was unwavering and did not even so much as budge an inch.

Sarfaraz scored a total of 335 runs against New Zealand in the two matches that were played, with an average score of 83.75 runs per game. In addition to this accolade, Sarfaraz was awarded the Player of the Match award for the second test as well as the Player of the Series award.
