Baba Aparajith becomes enraged with the umpire following a contentious LBW decision in a club game.
In the ongoing Tamil Nadu Cricket Association Division 1, veteran cricketer Baba Aparajith was dissatisfied after the on-field umpire called him out. Notably, the occurrence happened in the match between Jolly Rovers CC and Young Stars Cricket Club‘s 18th over. When Baba Aparajith attempted to block a delivery from Hari Nishaanth, the ball turned square and struck his pad while the fielder at short leg dove straight to capture it.
The fielding team promptly protested, and as the umpire became persuaded, he eventually raised his finger to signal out. At that point, the cricketer lost his composure and started arguing with the umpire and members of the other team. Replays revealed that when the ball struck his pads, it was traveling outside his leg and had not impacted his bat. As a result, Aparajith was incredibly upset with the choice and engaged in a lengthy conversation with the umpire before deciding to return to the changing room.

Notably, Baba Aparajith has participated in 250 domestic games and amassed 9478 runs.

139 wickets are also to his credit. Additionally, he was a member of the Indian team that triumphed at the 2012 U19 World Cup in Australia. Aparajith played in six matches, scoring 171 runs, and was a key contributor to India’s victory in the competition.
The cricketer played for both Rising Pune Supergiant and Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, however he was unable to make his IPL debut. In the shortest format of the game, Aparajith played 60 games and amassed 1139 runs at a strike rate of 109.51. Baba Aparajith has been one of the team’s most dependable players and has brought several victories to the Tamil Nadu side, but in the longest format of the game, he has been a force to be reckoned with.
