Ayush Badoni claimed that in order to improve his consistency level in front of the forthcoming domestic season, he is going above and beyond in training.In the first Delhi Premier League (DPL) season, the right-handed hitter leads the South Delhi Superstarz.
After accumulating 515 runs at an average of 64.38 and a strike rate of 226.87 across eight games, he is the second-highest run scorer in the tournament. During his three seasons with the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Badoni had some thrilling cameo appearances. He hasn’t, however, had a standout season that would have elevated him to new heights. The twenty-four-year-old has only been able to show flashes of his obvious potential when playing domestic cricket for Delhi.
However, Ayush Badoni wants to improve his attention and consistency in front of the upcoming domestic season, which starts on October 11 and features the highly anticipated Ranji Trophy 2024.
“I’ve not always given my best work. My goal is to score as many runs as I can while maintaining consistency. I have to assume greater accountability for Delhi. Although I’ve given strong performances, I still need to improve my consistency if Delhi is to win more games and go to the later stages of competitions. We need to concentrate more. In an effort to improve my score, I have also extended my practice sessions, Badoni was cited by Hindustan Times.
After this year’s IPL proved to be a letdown for him, Badoni said that he had taken to hitting spinners off the pitch. The gifted young player also talked about how he trains with the new ball. He claims that these workouts have improved his performance in the DPL.
“I have been practicing a lot to try to hit spinners against sixes since the IPL.” I’ve also done a lot of training with the more recent ball. I prefer to bat third or fourth. That is beneficial for DPL,” Badoni remarked.

“The DPL is a fantastic venue for young people to show off their skills and attempt to gain a spot on Delhi’s team or possibly the IPL. For me, this is similar to a mini-IPL. It is helpful preparation for the IPL,” he continued.
