Axar Patel, captain of the Delhi Capitals (DC), is pleased with the team’s success in the current Indian Premier League (IPL 2025). They had four consecutive wins to start the competition. They then lost one match against the Gujarat Titans (GT) and one match against the Mumbai Indians (MI). They have won six of their last eight games aside from that.
KL Rahul, Abhishek Porel, Axar Patel, and Tristan Stubbs have all made some incredible knocks in the majority of games. Regarding the bowlers, they have won games for the team by taking wickets when it mattered most. With the help of the batsmen, the Delhi-based team also won a Super Over with great ease. Mitchell Starc deserves most of the credit, though, since he let up just ten runs in the Super Over and defended nine runs in the last over.
Axar talked candidly about the team’s composition and the players’ strong performances in an interview on Star Sports, which is fantastic for a captain. To make the playoffs, DC needs just two more victories. They will need to continue winning more games, though, because GT is also playing well if they hope to place in the top two.
“Khatam hua hai tab tak, hum jo chah rahe hain woh ho raha hai aur jo player ka you know confidence bhi hai woh bhi high hai,” said Abhi Tak. Kar raha hai har player contribute. Ek ya do players k upar team chal rahi hai, ki aisa nai hai. We are performing good and everything is going well as of right now, in our opinion.
Har match mein koi, a koi player steps up ho raha hai, woh as a captain bahut badi baat hai. The participants are confident and actively participating in the game. All of the players on our team have stepped up and done a good job, so we are not reliant on any one of them. Thus, this is a big deal for a captain,” Patel stated in the video.

This season, Axar Patel has led admirably.
Axar Patel Patel has performed admirably with the bat but poorly with the bowling in the current IPL 2025. His batting has so given Delhi balance even though he doesn’t have a lot of effect with the ball. As captain, Axar has made some difficult decisions that have frequently benefited the squad. DC is looking forward to making it to the playoffs this year after an incredible season.
