Australia Women Match Own World Cup Record Against South Africa

In the Women’s World Cup 2025, Australia Women defeated South Africa handily in Match 26 to advance to the semi-finals after being undefeated during the league stage of the competition. With a decisive net run rate of +2.102, Australia led the standings after winning by seven wickets with 199 deliveries remaining.

The round-robin stage has already seen the Australians overcome the Women in Blue. Captain Alyssa Healy’s 142-run knock helped them win by three wickets in Visakhapatnam on October 12.

Healy’s slight calf strain kept him out of Australia Women matches against South Africa and England.
