Australia has been tipped by Pakistan red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie to defeat India in the forthcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024–25, which is scheduled to start on November 22. Despite this, Gillespie believes the hosts’ skilled bowling unit will be too much for the Rohit Sharma-led team to handle, and he anticipates them to win the series.

“I’ll be supporting them to complete the task. They are the nation’s top bowlers. Their track record, in my opinion, speaks for itself. The bowling attack that Australia can muster with this quartet is the best on the pitch. For a while now, they have been playing excellent Test cricket and are currently on fire. “I think Australia have a chance to beat India this time around, even though they have beaten Australia recently,” Gillespie stated to Fox Cricket.
