In Qualifier 1 in New Chandigarh, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) easily defeated the Punjab Kings (PBKS) to advance to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Final. In addition to praising Suyash Sharma for his outstanding bowling effort, RCB captain Rajat Patidar praised the pacers for making use of the surface.
The victorious captain revealed that he would advise Suyash to stick to a straightforward plan that focusses on hitting the stumps. Patidar went on to say that he had no problem giving up a few runs to the leg-spinner.
“I believe we had a clear plan for how we were going to bowl. The fast bowlers, in my opinion, made excellent use of the surface. Suyash’s contribution and the way he bowled his lines and lengths were excellent. I am clear about his bowling as captain. He must focus on the stumps because it is his strength. It’s hard for the batters to decipher his wrong’un. I always strive to avoid confusing him by giving him clear thoughts. If he gives up a few runs (in the process), I don’t mind. During the post-match presentation, Patidar stated, “One day of not practicing won’t harm you because we have had a lot of practice sessions throughout the tournament.”

I constantly give thanks to the RCB supporters because we feel like we’re at home everywhere we go, not just in Chinnaswamy.
The player, who was born in Indore, also admitted that he loves Phil Salt because of his spectacular top-order starts. He conveyed his sincere appreciation to the RCB supporters who support the team wherever they play, not just at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, which is the team’s home field, but also from all over the nation.
“The way Salt bats in the majority of the games. I really like the manner he is giving starters. Seeing him from the dugout is a delight. That’s excellent. Please continue to support us because we adore you. Let’s celebrate together after one more game,” he continued.
