For the first ODI between India and England on Thursday, 6 February at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Nagpur, MahaMetro and the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) have announced specific transit plans to control the rush and reduce traffic congestion for thousands of spectators.
MahaMetro has extended its Metro train service until 11:30 PM on match day in order to handle the heavy crowd. Since the final Metro will leave Khapri Metro Station at this time, supporters may easily get home without having to deal with traffic after the game.
To get to the stadium in the last mile, fans can ride the Metro to Khapri and then transfer to special city buses that the NMC has organised. They can board buses to return to New Airport Metro Station and then board Metro trains to different locations. Another way for commuters to avoid traffic bottlenecks is to change lines at the Sitabuldi Interchange and head towards Automotive Square, Lokmanya Nagar, or Prajapati Nagar.

Additionally, the NMC has scheduled special buses to drop off people at the stadium from Panchsheel Square in Sitabuldi every 15 minutes. Starting at 9:00 AM and running until late at night, the service will give attendees a dependable and reasonably priced way to get around. Regular prices will apply, and tickets can be bought in person at a designated ticket counter close to Jamtha T-Point or online through the Chalo App. To prevent problems with mobile networks at the venue, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
For important destinations including Wadi, Koradi, Katol Naka, Kamptee, and Pardi, the NMC has also planned late-night bus services from Sitabuldi. Given the anticipated high volume of traffic, Nagpur Traffic Police has issued comprehensive parking and traffic regulations. It is advised that spectators adhere to the designated routes and directions in order to prevent delays and guarantee a hassle-free match day experience.
