In a Ranji Trophy encounter against Gujarat on Sunday, February 18, Arjun Tendulkar, a player for Goa on the domestic circuit, achieved his highest bowling stats to date.
Arjun Tendulkar gave an excellent display with the ball against Gujarat, taking four wickets at an economy of 2.33 and giving up 49 runs in 21 overs while also hitting three maidens.
Thus far in first-class cricket, the pacer’s performances have been below average. With no victories from their six games played, Goa is currently in last place in their Ranji group. They shall keep fighting Gujarat in the hopes that things will improve for them.

In relation to the match, Goa batted first when the game started between them and Gujarat. The innings was begun by Amogh Desai and Suyash S Prabhudessai, who scored four and twenty-eight runs, respectively, to give the team a poor start. Manthan Khutkar also scored 19 runs, and the middle order fared better than the top order due to the collapse of the latter.
In the first inning, Goa scored 317 runs, with captain Darshan Misal contributing 89 runs in 110 deliveries, Arjun Tendulkar 45 runs, and Mohit Redkar 80 runs.
Gujarat responded by scoring 346 runs, led by P. K. Panchal, who hit 171 runs to start the inning. The team did not replicate the performance from the first inning as they attempted to reduce the deficit and score a large total.
Gujarat bowled masterfully, limiting Goa to 143 runs; they were given a target of 115 runs to chase and secure an outstanding victory over Goa. In terms of their rivals, Goa will continue to be positioned at the bottom of the rankings.
