Anyone who dares to boo Hardik Pandya right now? Ambati Rayudu

Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has experienced everything over the past six months, from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. Following his selection as the captain of the Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2024 Indian Premier League, Pandya was subjected to jeers from the crowd and racist epithets on social media and within the stadia. Mumbai finished at the bottom of the IPL table and failed to leave their mark, therefore the bad times persisted.

On the national team, though, Hardik Pandya was a formidable opponent. The 30-year-old was seen crying as he talked about the challenging times he had experienced over the previous six months, despite having a major part in India’s victory in the T20 World Cup. Considering that, veteran Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu said that Pandya’s remarkable mental toughness makes him delighted that he is returning to form.

Rayudu continued, saying that the batsman, who was born in Baroda, is a remarkable person, which enabled him to weather the storm. He discussed Pandya’s career and how he overcome all obstacles to be recognised as a world champion.

“I think that’s fantastic on his end. I dare anyone to boo him in India because he has such incredible mental toughness. If you are able, you know. He is a fantastic person, and I have played with him on my state team, so you know you will know it if you can strive to accomplish that,” Ambati Rayudu stated on Star Sports, as cited by India Today.

“And that’s why he could weather this storm, this storm that he had only a few months ago, and to come back that strongly is unbelievable and you know he’s a world champion now,” the speaker continued. “And he’s an amazing guy, an amazing human being.”

In the last over, Rohit Sharma gave the ball to Hardik Pandya, and South Africa needed 16 runs to win. On the opening ball, he got rid of David Miller, which altered the course of the match and enabled India to win.
