Tim David, an all-rounder for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), talked candidly about his batting position in the current IPL 2025. Batting in the middle order and collecting wickets with the ball, he has been in outstanding form lately. In an interview released by the IPL committee, the star player stated that he is willing to bat at any position if the club requests it.
If the Bengaluru-based club defeats the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 3, they will advance to the playoffs as the first team. With seven victories in ten games, they are presently in third place. RCB has only won one game in Bengaluru this season, having won all six away games.
Since the coaching staff assisted him when he first joined the squad, Tim David disclosed that he is well aware of his role on the team. In addition, he discussed his experience joining MI and the effects of the IPL sub-rule.
“Any position is where I’m ready to bat. For example, my teammates are aware of my role on the team. I am aware of my task. Tim David was quoted by NDTV as saying, “I’m becoming more at ease with this role the more you do it. You know, I understand different phases of pressure, whether you’re absorbing from the opposition or trying to put pressure back on them.”
There wasn’t an impact sub when I initially joined MI and when I first started in the IPL. That indicated that you were a regular batsman and were on the team,” Tim David continued.
Despite the possibility of weather delays, RCB will be hoping to play the entire game against the Super Kings. With these two points, they will move up to the top of the standings and earn a spot in the playoffs. In the meantime, the first team to be knocked out of the playoffs was CSK.
