An all-star commentary team has been announced for the ODI World Cup in 2023.

ICC TV promises to offer cricket fans throughout the world an unmatched viewing experience during the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. A complete world feed service will be made available to licensees in addition to live coverage of each match in the event, guaranteeing that spectators can follow all the action.

An innings-interval program, a post-game wrap-up, and a pre-match show will all be included in the comprehensive coverage. Legendary cricketers will be part of a prestigious commentary team that offers fans new perspectives and analyses on the game.

Along with Eoin Morgan, the captain who guided England to their first Men’s Cricket World Cup victory four years ago, Ricky Ponting, a three-time Men’s Cricket World Cup champion who has twice raised the trophy aloft as captain, will be joining the ICC’s coverage of the event.

They will be joined by other Cricket World Cup champions who have all experienced what it’s like to win the top prize in one-day cricket, including Shane Watson, Lisa Sthalekar, Ramiz Raja, Ravi Shastri, Aaron Finch, Sunil Gavaskar, and Matthew Hayden.

The trio of Ian Smith, Nasser Hussain, and Ian Bishop will return to the commentary box for ICC TV after bringing the 2019 final to a close at Lord’s and giving us one of the most memorable commentary runs in sports history.

Our extensive panel of former international stars, which also includes Simon Doull, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Sanjay Manjrekar, Katey Martin, Dinesh Karthik, Dirk Nannes, Samuel Badree, Athar Ali Khan, and Russel Arnold, will be joined by former captains Waqar Younis, Shaun Pollock, Anjum Chopra, and Michael Atherton.

Some of the top cricket commentators in the world, including Harsha Bhogle, Kass Naidoo, Mark Nicholas, Natalie Germanos, Mark Howard, and Ian Ward, complete the commentary crew and will all contribute to what is expected to be the biggest Men’s Cricket World Cup in history.

“I’m eagerly anticipating the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup,” said Eoin Morgan. There is no match for the subcontinent’s enthusiasm for the game, and I have no doubt that large crowds will attend to watch all of the teams play.

“Winning the World Cup is every player’s goal, and when I look back to that unforgettable day at Lord’s, when we hoisted the trophy after one of the most exciting ODIs ever, I still get chills. Now that I look forward to being in front of the microphone, I am eager to travel to India.

“Winning a World Cup in India is a truly unique feeling,” said Lisa Sthalekar. This World Cup looks to be one of the best ones ever because there are so many fascinating teams competing. I hope the top team wins!

“It’s great to be a part of the commentary team that will bring all the World Cup action to fans around the world,”

It doesn’t get any bigger than this, according to Ravi Shastri: the 50-over Men’s Cricket World Cup in India with the top 10 teams competing for the title of world champions! I can assure you that the atmosphere will be electrifying since this is going to be a really large event.

“I have already provided commentary at various World Cups, but this assignment will be particularly memorable. India has unrivaled support for the game, so it will truly be a festival of cricket.

Ian Smith: “Commentating in the 2018 World Cup final has been a highlight of my broadcasting career. That game demonstrated how exciting this game style can be.

“India will host the 50-over Men’s Cricket World Cup for the first time in 12 years, and I’m sure there will be a lot of excitement among supporters all around the nation. Taking in the environment and commenting with my seasoned colleagues will be a fantastic experience.

Every cricketer’s aim is to win the World Cup, and I’m sure a number of captains are eying up their chances in India, according to Ricky Ponting. The teams competing are evenly matched, and most are quite experienced with the conditions in India.

“The World Cup fever we saw in India in 2011 was fairly fantastic, but I predict this year will be much bigger! I’m ecstatic to be commentating and am eager to make calls.

Production services partner Disney Star and equipment services partner NEP Broadcast Solutions will support ICC TV. Along with detailed data analytics for cricket offered by Cricviz, AE Live will supply the on-air graphics for the coverage.

The broadcast will include a number of visual advancements and improvements. Off-bat tracking and Piero graphics are provided by Hawk-Eye for improved game analysis. Additionally, they will offer DRS services like edge recognition and ball tracking. Field 360°, a virtual field model designed to demonstrate fielding positions and tactics, will be made available by Quidich Innovation Labs. They will also offer a drone camera for breathtaking overhead views of all venues and the surrounding area, as well as a roving buggy cam and Spidercam for ground-level views of the event.

The debut of the vertical feed, a first-of-its-kind cricket broadcast, is a ground-breaking innovation by ICC TV that aims to attract casual fans by providing a more intuitive viewing experience tailored for mobile devices.

In addition to covering live matches, ICC TV will create a ton of non-live content that will be made available to media rights partners via the ICC TV Content Delivery Service. This will provide viewers the chance to see all the activity leading up to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup up close and personal. It will also contain daily player profiles, team features, match previews, venue highlights, and exclusive behind-the-scenes video.
