According to reports, Amol Muzumdar and Tushar Arothe are the frontrunners for the job of women's head coach, and Ajit Agarkar could be the next top selector.

The Indian Women’s team is almost done waiting for a head coach. One of the possible options will be looked at for the job before the team plays Bangladesh next month. Amol Muzumdar and Tushar Arothe, both of whom used to play cricket, are the top two candidates to take over the job that Ramesh Powar left last year.

Since Ramesh Powar was fired in December of last year, the women’s team, which is led by Harmanpreet Kaur, has not had a regular head coach. Hrishikesh Kanitkar, the hitting coach, took over the job for a short time during the T20 World Cup earlier this year. One of Amol Muzumdar and Tushar Arothe is likely to be named the head coach soon.

During South Africa’s tour of India, Amol Muzumdar, who had a long and successful career in India, was the temporary batting coach for South Africa.

Amol Muzumdar was a well-known name in India. Muzumdar was also the batting teacher for Rajasthan Royals for three years before he switched jobs.

Tushar Arothe, a former cricket player from Baroda, has been the head coach of the women’s team twice before. It is thought that former Durham coach Jon Lewis, who also applied for the job, is also in the race. Lewis, who is the head coach of the England women’s team right now, is said to be interested in the job.

Ajit Agarkar is the most likely person to get the job of chief selection.

Ajit Agarkar, who used to be a fast bowler for India and now works for the Delhi Capitals, is in the running to be the men’s team’s top selector. After Chetan Sharma was fired in an unusual way, the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) is looking for possible candidates. Most likely, the interview for the position of chief selection will take place on July 1.
