Ambati Rayudu, a seasoned Indian batter, is ready to play for Joburg Super Kings in SA20’s second season. The 37-year-old, who played for the Super Kings team for six years in the Indian Premier League, is notable for maintaining a positive relationship with the organization.
The cricketer had previously stated that he will play for the Texas Super Kings in the Major League Cricket (MLC)’s debut season, but he later had to withdraw due to family obligations. However, it was commonly accepted that BCCI was involved in the choice.
The governing body of Indian cricket has announced that players will need to observe a one-year cooling-off period before participating in other overseas competitions.
It was therefore assumed that this was the cause of Ambati Rayudu withdrawal. The cricketer from Andhra Pradesh, who was born a month later, signed with the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots for the upcoming Caribbean Premier League (CPL) season and is about to join Joburg. In order to complete the process, Rayudu, Faf du Plessis (the captain), and Stephen Fleming (the coach), according to Cricbuzz, are in frequent communication with Kasi Vishwanathan, one of the Super Kings’ representatives.
