In spite of the World Cup pendulum going the wrong way, Alex Carey sees the bright side.

Carey said that the exclusion had given him the opportunity to select his shots with the help of Australia's batting coach Michael Di Venuto and former Zimbabwean wicketkeeper hitter Andy Flower.

Despite his recent outstanding performances, Australia’s wicketkeeper-batter, Alex Carey, expressed his disappointment at not being selected for the ODI World Cup team. The 32-year-old has shown off some amazing glove work during Australia’s India tour. After Australia’s opening match, he was unable to secure a spot in the starting lineup.

Alex Carey talked about the same thing and said that he was both astonished and upset. The 32-year-old continued, saying that after processing it, he was able to function well in nets again.

“I was taken aback. I’m obviously really upset about losing my place there. According to a quote from Alex Carey that ESPNcricinfo provided, I suppose one had to process the news after hearing it, try to draw lessons from it, and then go back to work in the nets.

Alex Carey continued by saying that the exclusion has given him the opportunity to choose his game with the help of Australia’s batting coach Michael Di Venuto and former Zimbabwe wicketkeeper hitter Andy Flower.

The bright side is that I also had a little pre-season there. Despite always being prepared to play, I was able to, I suppose, dissect my own game and collaborate with some fresh players and various thought processes. It was nice to have Andy Flower over there as well.

“These days, he’s an amazing guy. It was also a pleasure to collaborate with Michael Di Venuto. many perspectives on the game. certain regions to score. The 32-year-old continued, “It was enjoyable to just hear other viewpoints and speak with different individuals.

He went on to discuss the significant 81-run innings he scored during his Sheffield Shield cricket comeback last week.

“It felt good to play and compete again in the center. From the first to the second innings, I think I made a slight adjustment to my thinking just to start playing again. After two or three months in the nets, it was fantastic to step outside and play a game. It differs somewhat in the center,” he said.

He continued by talking about his confidence, saying, “I’ve always had a really strong sense of self.” I’m limited to what I can do, so all I can do is keep getting ready and looking for ways to improve. I can’t wait to go outside and play.”
