Ahmed Shehzad jabs PCB after R Ashwin made comments about the Pakistani team, "Don't worry, everything is fine here."

Ahmed Shehzad, a former top-order batsman for Pakistan, mockingly replied to this, pointing out that the Pakistan Cricket Board is in charge of overseeing cricket-related matters in the nation.

Ravichandran Ashwin, an all-round bowler for India, has expressed his confusion over the current status of Pakistani cricket on his YouTube channel, drawing comparisons to the early 2010s.

The current Pakistani squad and the one including Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan were contrasted by Ravichandran Ashwin. He claimed that defeating Pakistan earlier was difficult.

“Setting all of this aside, even with Misbah and Younis Khan playing in the UAE ten years ago, Pakistani cricket could not have reached its current level. It was really difficult to defeat Pakistan back then, right? “Ashwin said in a video that was uploaded to his YouTube page.

“Ashwin, why are you surprised? Fear not—everything in this place is in order. Are you blind? Over here, stadiums are being built. Excavation is ongoing. “Don’t be surprised at all,” Shehzad said in a conversation with the Geo News anchor on their talk program.

Examining the Pakistan Cricket Board’s current state in further detail, he made fun of the organisation for planning events like the Champions One-Day Cup, which is set to start on September 12, 2024, in the hopes that things will improve.

Are you blind to the fact that Pakistan is hosting a cup? Simply observe how many players emerge from this competition. How we generate players from a battery of fast bowlers! Do you not perceive this? Shehzad said, “Why are you surprised, Ravi?

What if our team exhibits groupism? Ahmed Shehzad

Shehzad did not hold back in his harsh assessment of the team’s circumstances, and he went on to mock the PCB by pointing out all the problems that were deeply ingrained in its structure.

“What if we weren’t able to make it to the T20 World Cup Super 8s in 2024? What if?

Does our team exhibit groupism? What if the team’s present players aren’t playing up to par? Shehzad said, “Please don’t worry, Ravi; it’s not a big issue.”

Pakistan would have expected better performance after being unexpectedly eliminated from the major event that was jointly hosted by the United States and the West Indies. Rather, they added to their own suffering by losing to Bangladesh in a series in which they were utterly defeated on all fronts.
