Australia defeated Scotland in the third Twenty20 International of the series with ease, taking six wickets. They have won the series 3-0 and are in good shape for their next tour to England. Although the players were saddened by the series loss, Scotland coach Doug Watson pointed out that they had learnt a lot from the experience.
He continued by saying that the visitors’ bowling was excellent because Scotland was never able to put together a partnership of more than forty runs. In an attempt to succeed and provide possibilities for others, Scotland also altered their combination, but the hosts were unsuccessful.

Interestingly, McMullen finished as the series’ top run scorer with 134 runs scored in just three games. Cameron Green and Josh Inglis placed second and third, respectively, in terms of run scoring in the end.
