After Pakistan's defeat to India, Sourav Ganguly criticizes their batting, saying, "This team can't handle the pressure."

Given their performance against India in the present ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly claimed that the current Pakistani side is not able to handle pressure. Pakistan had a successful start, winning its first two games, but came up short against India and lost the match by seven wickets.

According to Sourav Ganguly, the Pakistani team was extraordinary during his playing days. Additionally, he stated that if the present team’s batting lineup does not play up to par, it may be difficult for them to make a comeback in the current competition.

“Pakistan was a different team when we played them; this is not the Pakistan team we used to play. During batting, this squad is unable to withstand the pressure.

With this batting, Pakistan will find it difficult to return in this World Cup, according to Sourav Ganguly, who was quoted by Times Now.

Further praising Rohit Sharma and Team India for their outstanding performance against Pakistan, the previous BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) president. India, bowling first, held Pakistan to a disappointing 191 runs in 42.5 overs. Then, the Indian batsmen successfully completed the goal in 30.3 overs, extending their unbeaten run over Pakistan in ODI World Cup matches to eight games.

“Rohit Sharma dominated the Pakistan match. Every department in India is performing nicely. The 51-year-old continued, “Batting, bowling, and fielding firing together and at the appropriate time.

The encounter between India and Pakistan appeared to be a bilateral series; it appeared to be a BCCI event, according to Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur, who noted that the match appeared to be a BCCI event because it was played in a stadium packed with Indian fans.

“Look, if I said it didn’t, I’d be lying. Honest to God, it didn’t seem like an ICC event. It appeared to be a BCCI tournament and a bilateral series. ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ wasn’t played through the mics very often tonight. After the game, Arthur said. However, he acknowledged that it would not be accurate to state that one of the causes of their defeat was a lack of fan support.

“So yes, that does play a role, but I’m not going to use that as an excuse because for us it was about living the moment, it was about the next ball and it was about how we were going to combat the Indian, the Indian players tonight,” he said.
