In his four overs, the 29-year-old claimed three wickets while conceding only 15 runs. He revealed his position on the team and expressed that he was “pleased” with his performance after the game.

“Very happy following the poor performance in the first game. I followed the same strategies, but they were carried out more skilfully. I made an effort to remain composed as I moved ball by ball. It is my responsibility to arrive and make every effort to hit the deck with the change-ups and everything else. My commander expects me to do that. I have to set aside my previous performances and focus on sticking to my lengths and using my variations today in order to perform better, Shepherd remarked.
