Speaking about the likelihood that Yash Dhull, the captain of the 2022 Under-19 World Cup, will be selected by an IPL team in the IPL 2026 auction, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra said the young batsman has fulfilled all the requirements with his recent exploits. In the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025, Dhull played for the Central Delhi Kings and had a fantastic season. He finished as the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament with 435 runs at an impressive average of 87 and a strike rate of 167.31, which included two hundreds and three half-centuries.
