Aakash Chopra selects five Indian players to keep an eye on at the U19 World Cup in 2024.
During the U-19 Men’s World Cup in South Africa, Aakash Chopra, host of JioCinema’s daily sports show “#AAKASHVANI,” selected five Indian players to keep an eye on.

Take-outs:

Captain and middle-order batsman Uday Saharan was born in Rajasthan but has lived and played cricket in Punjab. His father has given him a lot of support, and the Punjab Cricket Association has also made significant financial investments in him. He will play at Nos. 4 and 5. He performed admirably in the recent tri-series between Afghanistan and South Africa, scoring a century against the latter. He is a competent batsman and a good stroke-maker. He is very patient and has a pleasant disposition.

Fast bowler Raj Limbani: in the U-19 ACC Cup, he took 7/13 against Nepal. He has a great ball stroke. He makes a frequent effort to strike the pads. He can locate the outside edges and some of the balls straighten. Seeing how he bowls on South African pitches will be interesting.

Vice Captain Saumy Pandey, a left-arm spinner, had numerous difficulties growing up. He was born early, something many people are unaware of, therefore his body had some time to mature. He overcame these obstacles and became a proficient left-arm spinner. He can continue to bowl in the same location. He can change the speed well and isn’t a great turner of the ball. Because he bowls accurately, he should be able to get wickets in South Africa.

The brother of Sarfaraz Khan, Musheer Khan is a left-arm spinner and right-handed batsman. When it comes to scoring big, he reminds me a bit of Sarfaraz Khan. He bats in a rather unorthodox way. Even though he appears a little clumsy and off-balance, he scores many runs quickly. He’s the kind of person that truly changes the game. Since he is fully aware that opportunities to succeed are few, I believe he will seize this one.

Right-handed batter and right-arm pacer Arshin Kulkarni: In addition to being a fast bowler, he bats in the top six. In that regard, he’s a unique asset. All the people I’ve spoken to have expressed his skill as a player. The Lucknow Super Giants selected him for the IPL. I hope he performs well in the World Cup. He was successful with both bat and ball in the Maharashtra Premier League, and he was quite outstanding. In the same game, he amassed a century, claimed four wickets, and held six runs in the final over.
